Agreed. The only problem with a good cash position is, as you know, the cash seems to find its way into strange places (other group companies, loans to directors, closed finance companies etc etc) and the return they get always seems to be lower than the interest rate. Exporters I agree with completely. Some of the basic exporters in Thailand have seen their share prices triple in US$ terms since the devaluation. These stocks will continue to surprise people with the improvement in profitability that they are able to achieve.
