Question for Bob Z. I downloaded the free BigDisk 1.01 ... the full version not the upgrade from my home IP account. Immediately had an email with my serial number. Impressive. Then when I got to work (ya people must think I don't sleep) I downloaded a copy for my work machine. At work I have different IP and email all together. Well it sent the another email immediately but to my other email, my home account. It looks like they are able to determine your email address just by a visit or download from their web page. (Ok Chris ... where is your question .. getting there .. hold on) Since my email and IP address are different at work how did Syncronys determine I am the same guy? A little scary I would say. This boasts my confidence in their ability to pull off a "Oil-Change" type of application. Hope I am not pulling shyytt outta the air, but I can't explain how it knows.
