Sandie, It is getting hard to assess. I'm staying away from the most of those that only sell toolsets and sticking with companies that can derive revenue from billing consulting hours. Thus far, I'm in KEA and TPRO and looking to find another. CBR, IMRS, CHRZ, and many others are out there. Even IBM may do well in the short term before the lawsuits start hitting them for not dealing with Y2K earlier. So far as best potential returns on investments, I am betting my money on TPRO. As I have stated before, the jury is still out on how this company will fair, or even if its Y2K remediation products are even as necessary as well all hope that they are. There are just too many unknown factors as well as the relative secrecy surrounding awarding of Y2K business by those customers wishing to downplay their Y2K vulnerabilities for anyone but the company itself to make a good assessment on the future of TPRO. But I have set a targer on TPRO of $12-15 for 1998 and hope to find TPRO considered to be equivalent to a KEA style play for post-2000 remediation and BPR business. It is still relatively unknown in marketplace, and some positive results over the next quarter could set the stage for even greater valuations. I just don't have enough data at this point to state with any certainty what the risks are with TPRO. But then again, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I think TPRO is taking the right steps with forming a stronger foundation for future business. But for less risk, hence less upside potential, one has to look at the larger consulting firms. Y2K is estimated to be a $14+ billion market for computer and business consulting companies. The residual monies for Y2K will be spent on inhouse programming staffing, upgrades of hardware and software, and various incidentals associated with the issue. But until we have more data, people are just throwing out numbers based on best guesstimates. Just a few of my thoughts. Hope it helps. Regards, Ron
