I wasn't referring to the people that use their real names. I would guess that about 20% of people use an alias, but we still see no inside info.

It would seem that SI would be a good forum for the accurate and truthful dissemination of information about the company. Such data would offset the rumors and speculative guessing that frequently occurs in discussion groups. A good example is hpeace (steve) on the CPQ thread. He diligently strives to get the facts out in order to counter the disinformation that is cast about, either with malicious intent or not. I too have hoped for SI to be a source of solid information, whether good, bad, or indifferent. I suspect other participants on SI have similar expectations. In addition, wouldn't the corporations discussed on SI want the truth about their operations (not proprietary information or trade secrets) available?
