The word I am getting is that the gulf stream is going to almost stop, or stop altogether. The fresh water from a vast ice melt will change water density and that will put the brakes on. Once that happens, a massive heat transfer mechanism stops, and you start getting very cold winters up north following a rapid ice sheet growth, lots of sunlight being reflected, and things getting colder.

I would love to see genuine scientific discussion about possible mechanisms... including the change in solar activity, comic rays and cloud cover, but I don't see this at all.

I just see politics and elementary school level insults being exchanged and the visions from simplistic and inadequate climate models.

and "etch a sketch" graphs that are supposed to convincing.

It is such that no one dares to tell the truth... a common frailty that we humans have to some how survive in.

It's the devils work I believe ... the devil is usually in the details, but at the moment the devil doesn't even have to bother with that. We humans are more then able to make such fools of ourselves.

Gulf stream slowing itself is the consequence of climate change.

The warm tropical sea water moves north to Canadian coast where it cools and sinks to lower level and travel back down south.

The arctic acceleration of global warming slows down the cooling of the water in the north, and temperature difference between trophic and arctic gets smaller and slows down the Gulf stream.

Deniers will think the sea level rise is because of the slowing Gulf stream and the deniers are the braindead maggots.
