I must take an unpopular stance here and say from a TA view, Pair is still a strong sell. It also appears to have lost momentum.

Emile, nice to see you back here! What did you make of the modem tests with CPQ? With the announcement that PAIR had the first DSL on a single chip, I was surprised to see that someone was already testing finished consumer products. In any case, the PAIR announcement was great news.

Pair supprised me with their Falcon chip announcement. I expected it to come out late 98

BTW, how did you know about this in advance? Was this work-in-progress public knowledge or are you the Sherlock Holmes of the xDSL world?

Emile... there is NO guarentee that Falcon will meet the INTC/MSFT/CPQ/RBOC standards. If not, how quickly can they develop Falcon II?
