The website leads visitors to a homepage that reads: “Oops, Joe forgot about the Latinos” and “Joe is all talk.” The website redirects visitors to the “Latinos for Trump” website. The campaign registered the Twitter handle “Todos Con Biden” and has been using it to troll Biden by tweeting out unflattering messaging about the vice president. “I believe the [border] fence is needed…[because] people are driving across that border with TONS, TONS, hear me, TONS of everything from byproducts for methamphetamine to cocaine to heroin and it's all coming up through corrupt Mexico.” – Joe Biden pic.twitter.com/NrAsuPmW6V — Todos Con Biden (@todosconbiden) October 23, 2019 Trump’s campaign Deputy Communications Director Erin Perrine told ABC News the campaign acquired the domain at “minimal cost.” Perrine added, “Latinos are thriving under President Trump and now thanks to the Biden camp, people can find out more about that success” when they visit the website. Perrine said the Biden campaign has been “inept.” Isabel Aldunate, the Hispanic media press secretary for the Biden campaign, said the move was “ no surprise“: “It is no surprise that Trump’s Campaign would resort to childish antics like this to take attention away from this President’s appalling record of separating families and using immigrants as scapegoats, fomenting hatred and white supremacy, and trying to take away health care from millions of Americans who need it.” The move comes just months after the Trump campaign launched its own Hispanic outreach initiative.
