Fascism is a fact of life in this country and it sickens me. Unfortunately, fascism has been enabled by both the Democrats and the Republicans. You are right, but you are blind in your hatred of the Republicans. I realized long ago that both parties are corrupt. Neither is really for the 99%. The Fed has more control over our economy than either party does, and they are a Communist organism that has rigged the entire economy in favor of the 1% asset holders. No party can fight the Fed, unless Congress gets together to end the Fed.

As for Trump, he's a weird product of our environment. He's not really a Republican. He's more like a RINO, who used the Republican Party to run for President. At the end of the day, all I care about are results, not talk. The results under President Trump is that the average middle class worker now makes $5,000 more per year due to his policies of America First. He's the only one who is actually doing something good for American workers. His trade policies are chaotic in the short run, but if he can strike the deals he's going after, they will be incredibly good for this country in the long run. He already proved he can get a better deal with his USMCA deal that the Democrats refuse to even look at in the House.

BTW, I am registered Unaffiliated, because I don't believe in the two party system anymore. Both parties are a relic of the past that hasn't faded away yet. Both are destructive and are moving farther towards extremes to the left and right. I'm a just right of center moderate on almost all issues, except two. On economics, monetary, and fiscal policy, I am a conservative, because I've been a businessman my whole life and I believe simply in what works and don't believe in the fantasyland economics of Socialists and Communists. On social issues with adults, I'm a libertarian, except when it comes to the protection of minors, then I'm a conservative, because no child should be subject to the social and medical experiments of crazed lunatics that want to transgender them. On being good stewards of our planet, I'm a little left of center, except I don't believe an apocalypse is imminent in the next 12 years and believe in far more practical and equitable steps than are being proposed by the frothing at the mouth crowd. For example, I believe clean water and cleaning up our oceans and cities is far more valuable to humans than banning oil and gas production.

Anyway, the Republicans aren't evil, they are just still stuck in the grip of the neocons, although Trump is trying to beat it out of them. The Democrats for the most part aren't evil, but they are stuck in the grip of Hillbillie, who is absolutely corrupt to her gills, and they are increasingly becoming enamored of the Socialist and Communist policies that even the Russians and Chinese abandoned because they don't work.

I'd rather be a pragmatist than an ideologue. We have way too many ideologues in this country nowadays.
