I admit I do not discern where the spending went, in terms of net positive programs, initiatives, or geographies.

The biggest expenditure has gone to the military......about $1,500,000,000.00 so far.

It is already "paying off".

Yes, Trump is a "borrow and spend" guy. But his import tariffs have the effect of taxes.

When the US borrows to deficit spend it tends to spend on non productive entitlement programs and the bonds sold take cash out of the economy. MMT needed now or QE into infinity. Go for it Mr Trump. Even medicare for all is affordable until the world re inflated. If the socialists get in things will look like they are working until the world finishes re inflating then tough decisions will need to be made I would rather see the money spent on massive infrastructure but do believe in basic medical care for all and both are fesible
