Dell has quadrupled in price in the last year. The growth stage in PC's is going to level off. All the companies making PC components are getting destroyed, the box market is the next stage. Dell has a done a great deal of cost-cutting, which begs the question of how much they can do in the future. Dell's P/E is amongst the highest of the box makers. Notebook computers are now being sold a deep deep discounts.

Basically, this is a commodity industry with prices declining rapidly. You can't make as much money off a $1000 computer as you can off a $2500 computer, no matter how low the component prices go.

Not to mention that I think that the Asian computer companies are going to DEEPLY discount their computers.

Bonus: What happens if the DOJ forces Microsoft to delay Windows 98?
Bonus#2: I believe that there's no way in Hell that Microsoft will come out with Windows NT 5.0 this year.
