Ben -

I think this view is going to be shared by many on the street, unfortunately.

All, Re:>>>Conference call<<<

One thing that was said during the conference call that has not been addressed on this thread, unless I missed it, was the statement that Iomega now has a capacity to produce 20 million Zip drives in 1998 .

Kim also said that they have exceeded 12 million at this point in time . Looking forward into 1998 , because of the 15 fold advertising blitz in quarter one , I believe that Iomega will have an industry inclusion of Zip drives a number in excess of 30 million .

This tripling of drives will not correspond to the tripling of revenues because the unit price will come down . At the same time the profit will go up because of the larger numbers of drives sold.

Kim also said that the licencees will , or should be as I am not quite clear on what he said , be ramping up in the 2nd quarter as well .

With fast growing companies you can always question things that can influence their growth factors . Competition , quality , market demand, ability for the company to finance the growth etc . IMO Iomega clearly addressed these factors in the conference call last night in the affirmitave .

Long IOM ,
