Bleeker Ddrifters on the MF board has asked that you e-mail him. "SI Thread - On the SI Thread, I believe Bleeker offered (earlier) to give his hedge fund source as a reference if someone wanted to phone him to confirm some facts. Would someone who can post on SI please ask him to email me, or give me his email address? I know Todd Wiener has stated that his #'s are based on extrapolations of channel checks, plus other contacts he has in the industry. Without information on the sample size and selection, it is difficult to determine what the margin of error is on an unofficial survey; I would think that you would have to give the benefit of the doubt to the company that professionally surveys 70% of retailers, ie PCD."
