ZEEV: If you are right on interest rates, you are right about stocks. But with the dollar bull apparently over and the yellow coming to life in a big way, I just cannot see bond yields coming down to 5.5%. In fact I expect something closer to 6.25% by mid-year as expectations of future inflation start to ratchet higher. I do agree the market will have a nice bounce in the second half but I am looking for something like a move from 6200 to 7500-8000, not to 9000. Then at best a flat 1999.

I still say that gold stocks and Asian stocks will be the best performing market sectors this year. Domestic cyclicals should also do well if purchased near the market lows.
