I know all that, I have American relatives and have visited the US many times, the right to bears arms is fine but the founding fathers didn't mean people should be able to walk around with AR15's, look how many people are killed and wounded every year in the USA, crooks are always going to have guns, people who are nuts should not be allowed to own weapons which is the case today.

Canada's so called standard of living which you enjoy is 80% dependent on the USA.

Yep.. and US interests keeping AB oil landlocked means to ensure we remain a vassal state... The canvas is very broad louel... very broad indeed.. Can you think of any single item to make us less a US vassal than getting tidewater for AB.. see I a not on the other side of you..

Unless AB joins the US.. those same parties would be acting to block Wexit... and would succeed...

as to the territorial waters.. well the US has already gone on record.. they are open sea,,,

I have LONG lamented that we remain a US vassal.. (I have posts on the topic on this very board) why do you think I believe AB NEEDS tidewater... and it is ridiculous that the east imports oil... Same forces that promote the whining about us needing a weak loonie to compete... we are sabotaged on many levels...
