I understand that you (IOM) do not want to create demand that you cannot fill by advertising too soon, but it seems that they are late with this campaign by 2-3 months.

Where the advertising money is coming from

I agree Bill, KE said it would be better to spend money on advertising to drive up demand than cut prices to drive up demand. I think he made the better choice.

Gateway turned themselves around quite nicely (beat the earnings estimates by 30%). I thought they were in real trouble when they posted 3Q earnings. I noticed they did heavy advertising this past quarter. They seem to have benefitted greatly from it.

It's in the hands of the Ad agency now. A good marketing campaign will make the difference.
