Great.and it helped them gain market share, no?http://cnnfn.com/digitaljam/9801/23/microsoft/

The Internet Uprising continues. It will not be assimilated.

Perhaps Gateway would be the first to break the heavy fees of the Windows model and offer customized win95/nav5 and forego win 98 in some Cheaper models---a price breakthru !

Reg -

So Reg, do you still want to talk about objects and containers, or are you too busy saying that IE is more easily customized than Nav even though NSCP is giving away source? I assume you read my postings, can I take your lack of response as a tacit acknowledgement that you agree with me?

<Partners will also be able to redistribute Netscape's
browser and customize it because code for the
upcoming Communicator will be available over the
Internet.>

For the last year and a half MSFT has allowed anybody to do this by simply filling out a form on
its web site. I had my own, highly customized RCM financial browser, with my logo on the web
bar.

So you're saying that MSFT releases its source code for anyone to customize? I don't think so. Are you saying that your ability to add your own logo or change the menus that the top of the screen is "highly customized"? Our releasing of the source code is not anything like MSFT's IE customization program.
