That is what the Pareto chart was invented for, and it works. When i was first introduced to it , I thought it was just the latest corporate pos fashion statement to make the top management lives look important and meaningful. Especially as it was named after (a) An Italian and (b) an economist... it was (b) that was the kicker.

After having dealt with a number of complex issues though, I realized I had been given the tool of a lifetime. Opportunity often arrives in strange ways like that. Your mind has to be awake and nimble to seize that chance.

So putting mass transit (very handy) on the chart with wild fires and not having any electricity, along with all the other important challenges living in the region, that chart should come out with a fair degree of accuracy quickly. Arguments over... fix the problems.

otoh, if it just a general discussion point, I guess solutions are not really what it's about.

I think maybe I should have been an Artist.
