Philosopher Rousseau said those words about the French Revolution more than 200 years ago, but they could well have been a talking point in the Democratic debates this week. You want to live in a world where all your needs are taken care of, where a nice lady from the government comes to your bed at night to tuck you in and give you a nice glass of cocoa. History has shown where that happens the trade off is one night the cocoa is laced with strychnine.
