Thanks for the list. Four were before or during Reagan (32, 77, 70, and 87), the rest after. The trend is not our friend on this one. I heard one of the reporters say the average today is millions of burning acres and was thousand of acres under Reagan.

The cool part is trees are mostly carbon (CO2 - O2). Basically trees are carbon eating machines and when they burn they become CO2 again and increase greenhouse gases which only make the problem worse.

From life to carbon C (or gas - CO2) to tree to coal to diamond, C has an interesting life cycle. Enough trivia.
