(Off Topic) Asia meltdown

Indonesia's rupiah has fallen so far that the IMF program to build confidence is in a state of collapse. In international lending markets continued lending to Indonesia is no longer being contemplated. The banks in Indonesia have been wiped out. There is no money to pay back foriegn loans. According to the WSJ this morning foriegn banks ae expecting either a government proclaimed debt moratorium or general default.

If Indonesia defaults it would test the Korean firewall.

NOVL stock which I have started to watch again is stuck on low volume. There is an enormous backlog of buy orders at 7 1/8th. This has been constant for several days. Not many sellers are coming down to that price. Hence the noise/fluctuation at 7 5/32 - 7 7/32.

Meantime JAPAN's market is in a technical rebound due to hope that the government will do more to stimulate the economy. The drop dead date for JAPAN is March 31st, the end of the fiscal year when the truth about the state of the banking system must be told.

Indonesia should trigger another crisis.
