Novell Daily Update -3/32 at 7 3/32, breaking seven just around the corner??

Glad you enjoyed your time in Greece....a lot has changed since then but Placa retsina ouzo and souvlaki still rule!<g>I 'll be back in august to show junior to his grandparents and cousins! You mentioned Cyprus....brings up lots of bitterness and pain, my brother served in the Greek army there...the island is still divided...so sad to see this still unresolved since 1974, so sad...

You ought to take a cruise in the Greek isles in the summertime, it's just beautiful!

Still nothing mentioned about Novell from where u are at....nothing. Come on, do VK a favor and start something so NOVL can hit 12!!!Just kiddin'

Cheers

Joe,

Now you're talking. Retsina is the only white wine I enjoy anymore. Switched to red a few years back because it's soooooo good for me.

Sorry for the slow response to your post about CPQ. I'm in Mazatlan doing research on the effects of combining large quantities of cerveza, sun, and tortilla soup.

I've been glad to see you lightening up on some of your tech holdings. CPQ has a series of lower highs and needs to break out now to make the chart look better. The way that stocks tend to move as groups (big picture) makes buying CPQ after selling DELL a commission maker for the broker. I can't see one going up while the other goes down. At least for any length of time.

CPQ looks cheaper (not cheap) but will usually be afforded a lower PE. What it sells at now (26 PE) is ludicrous unless we are in the best of all worlds. No company or market mis-steps can be tolerated at that price.

Drove up to Copala yesterday. It's a small, picturesque mountain village of 600, about 60 miles from Mazatlan, that was settled by the Spaniards in the 1500's, with a Catholic church that was built in 1756. As we walked around the village square a 12ish boy on a donkey came up to us. My wife asked what his donkeys name was. He replied "Beel Clinton".

Cracked us up.
