<<Together, they make possible for the first time full optical systems comprised of all-GRADIUM(R)-glass components.>>

This company's news release still makes me feel full of smokes, no fires. From an optical engineer point of view, it doesn't mean too much. What kinds of optical system they do, what specs they achieve???
What kinds of optical lens system do they compare with and claim that they can reduce the lens numbers? The best designed system so far or just a worst one.

I have been watching this company for a long time and in fact like to see if they can make something out of DWDM products so I can use it in my work. However, there is not even a prototype yet. I won't say the DWDM hope from lightpath is simalar or even worse than GigaMux in FIBR. There has to be something to prove this is real.

I believe if those lenses from Ligthpath are worthy they should be in Photonic West or OFC. If they don't give a demo in those shows, something stinks.

The only thing now gaining my respect for this company is from the join of Dr. Alan Willner, who will be or is a consultant for lightchip.
