Don I'm a newbie to SI and to owning stock's. So this is to you and all you SGIers. Consider these pontifications. oh by the way, I are and N gin eer. These positive results and the new exec anouncement should have caused the stock to jump. This will get SGI mentioned on all the business newses I think. Will this be linked to SGI providing animation's and graphics during the super bowl sunday. To the 130 million viewers will a subset investigate SGI for investment purposes. Technologically mis-speaking. ramblins ranting and bubba. I've worked with SGI models a to z. Hp/appollo workstations Sun indegestion work stations. I personally believe that an intel processor is a terible thing to waste on nt or any software from borgland. I love linux. Anyway SGI currently has a somewhat slower than average R1000 cpu. But because SGI has a mudda board technology second to none, their system's are pretty quick. A merced on a SGI mudda board may be 3db (twice) as fast as the other guys stuff. I believe no other company has as well integrated I/O and multi processor capability. If asdl starts to take off I believe one SGI 128 processor widget will be more attractive at handling the bandwidth than 1024 processor NT mongoose. Ok a 512 processor eclisped or backpacketor. If SGI can deliver hot swap, see the golden eggs. The above was not intended to make any sense. I applogize but I bought all my SGI stock in the last 30 day's at about 12. I feel good.
