Obama had to fix the Great Recession caused by another Republican WH. Trump had to fix the Top1%, Billionaires and the wealthiest 400 families in America.

Since we had balanced budgets under Clinton and this happened after he increased taxes I'm not ready to say leaving the gold standard was the problem. Clinton was revolutionary. He did what no one else could do and will never do again. I know the gop hates him but that's because he did what they promised to do for the past forty years but couldn't do. We know how to fix this problem - go back to paying for what we spend. The people who promised to balance the budget with tax cuts all failed. History will not be kind to them and we get to write their history.
