Ok, so yes to most people the local weather is the most important thing, as in the case of tornadoes you mentioned

My point was not that.. connect the dots between all those local events and it is not so local anymore...

Hurricanes.. not Tornadoes.. In the 30+ years I have lived in Ontario (initially out in London) The western part has always had more extreme weather than Toronto... be it snow or rain (thunder with some tornado activity.. occasionally brushing up again Brampton and Mississauga)

BTW Blue Mountain in Collingwood opened Friday (Nov 15)... earliest ever opening...

So when as I posted to elmatador on the Unwinding thread ... we start getting a few Hurricane Hazels (the real one not the former Mississauga mayor ;) every couple of years up our way.. they I'd say we have a possible trend denoting a climate shift.. so far they are still just weather...

I see shifting patterns.. but not much overall change in the sense we will all burn or freeze... NASA appears to corroborate..

Hazel however is 2 years my senior and not been repeated in my lifetime...
