I just looked at apts. in SF. The cheapest rentals available are shared units with 8 (bunk) beds, 2 bdrms and ONE bathroom! $895/mo, 1 year lease.

I think it is a great thing Apple has committed to doing; and extremely gratified that it made that commitment without the influence of jack-booted thugs. It is what happens when corporate America is allowed to keep what it earns.

Now, let's see if they can solve the problems Democrats created.

You should compare the Hong Kong skyline vs the Bay Area. On the peninsula, San Jose and then SF proper are the only real high rise building areas. The rest of the peninsula, although continuous urban area between those two, is largely pretty low construction, and yet its dirt that is the expensive part item in the area.
