never heard of these guys. If they're suggesting that Bay and Coms have Cisco on the ropes then I wouldn't pay much attention. I think the comment shows their ignorance of the market and the issues. Layer 3. That's they're comment...simply "layer 3"... that Bay and COMS ahead of Cisco in Layer 3? They sound like idiots to me.

COMS's business overlaps Cisco only on the low end. COMS core is remote access and NIC's whereas CSCO generally has a higher end product line....big routers, switches etc. where COMS has no products. In my estimation Cisco has competition to worry about - but it's certainly not Bay and Coms.... I'd be more concerned about Lucent and Nortel.

In my opinion, unless Rothman and Raezer can substantient they're position with facts rather conjencture and obviouly uninformed comments then I wouldn't pay them any attention.
