<<Bought a ZIP. Give away prices at Sams'. Didn't work on a 486 I had. Trying to deal
with customer service was a worse experience than falling through the ice. They really
need to remember why they are in business. Put it on a Pentium and it works great. Still
wouldn't recomend it to anyone I know >>

I bought an external zip scsi two years ago and put it on my 486 33mz it worked great for 8 months then I had problems. Turned out I had a bad cable. IOM were great helping me, not hesitating to send new drive and finally new cable which solved problem. I guess they should have sent the cable first, but I can't complain. It hasn't missed a beat since. A few months ago I installed an internal scsi in my computer (pentium II) at work and it hasn't missed a beat.

Guess experiences can vary widely.
