He was a smart and decent person, but he did not take on our major problems. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse said they could have gotten a climate agreement through, but the whitehouse told him they did not take on issues they could not win. He did not go after the Banks who committed hundreds of billions of dollars in fraud. He did not lower pot from a schedule one drug and so left tens of thousands of innocent people in jail. Income inequality got worse all eight years. He was no drama Obama. We need some fucking drama-lol. And Warren will tackle all of those issues, which is exactly why the left supports her! << "Nervous that for the first time in 50 years we will have a truly smart and decent president-lol?" We just had 2 terms with a smart and decent person. I don't recall being nervous. I think the Warren plan, if implemented in 100 days, will cause a major recession. The patient will die from over-treatment.
