Or was it a free speech type of lawsuit that got those drug ads onto our televisions? I don't recall. I did some quick searching and did not find out why the CDC changed it. I would argue that blocking a specific type of ad doesn't square with democracy. I would argue everything in its place. Lost dog ads don't belong in the Congressional Record. And there are moves afoot now to take drug ads off TV again. In your consideration, don't forget that there is a difference wrt rights between what the private sector allows or doesn't allow and what the government bans.
