I actually very much agree with your post. It's a huge political issue for Canada as it is for many other countries.

I probably did not express it well. My beef is with the endless discussion about true or not global warming or whatever you want to call it. An issue which certainly won't be resolved on this forum.

The global warming side certainly has the major media edge. To try to dispel it right now is a lost cause. Discussions of how we can bring back Canadians to current, future economic realities and our actually outstanding environmental accomplishments would fit this forum much better.

We are an easy target. We have huge natural reserves being developed in a (mostly) responsible manner and no global voice to convey this fact. In fact, we chose to have a voice which conveys a different story.

Maybe Canada needs to go into a recession for people to realize what is important to them and to their kids and their kids.
