1. Harry Enton is not an independent voice. He is an extreme partisan; I would keep that in mind.

2. Neither of these elections was anything approaching a tsunami. IIRC, in 2018 the Republican senate gained a few seats. The Republicans lost a few more seats in the House than they thought they would. Kind of a toss-up, really.

3. Virginia in 2019 managed to flip two seats in the Senate and six in the House. This is really not indicative of some kind of sea change. Of course, everyone has known VA was moving left, but this could just as easily normal variation.

4. The state polls that came out last Monday were shocking, no matter which side you're on. These are the states that decide the election. And they're all essentially within the margin of error. While we've been hearing what a huge lead Democrats have it is simply false. This is a tied presidential race.

We're a year away, but Trump is way ahead of where I would have expected.

I think he's likely to win in a landslide.
