Kennan was aghast at the way we have handled policy subsequent to the dismantling of the Soviet Union. And not only Kennan. Other top experts on Russia, since Kennan's death such as Steven Cohen.and Paul Craig Roberts have warned repeatedly that we were on the wrong track.

Even neo-con expansionists on Russia such as Zbigniew Brzezinski have started to realize that we have made major missteps in ignoring and breaking our promises to them since the 1990s.

No, the truth is that our military industrial complex desperately needs a formidable enemy in order to continue to milk the American people of its lifeblood. The Russians serve the purpose.

The war hawk Dems may be leading us all to annihilation if they ever get back in power.

Washington Post: Emmanuel Macron is right: NATO is over

The truth is that Macron has it right. The surprising thing isn’t that NATO is on artificial life support. It’s that the alliance has lasted as long as it has.

Macron: "Is our enemy today Russia? Or China? Is it the goal of NATO to designate them as enemies? I don’t believe so."
