And isn't it ironic that the folks that liked that song wear their hair longer than almost anyone else now. And most of the hippies became professionals and cut their hair. But you folks never understood that the counter culture movement of the 60's which was one of the most important cultural revolutions of all time. It was the world's, first major existential movement in the history of the human species. And the thesis of it was simply throwing out old primitive ideas of racism, sexism and homphobia and caste systems and blind obedience to primitive norms and mores and replacing them with modern humanitarian ideas of human equality.
