I am just trying to be a reporter as best I can and as honestly as I can. I hope it is OK for me to try and tell the the political story I see as honestly as I can. I think I have a pretty good track record so far.

There is a difference between being smart and wise. Wisdom takes time.

The "kids" saw what Trump is about better than any other age group. That is smart. And the old folks saw what Trump is about the least.

But I remember how many of us did not vote for Humphrey (we stayed home) because he, mayor Daley and the Democratic establishment stole the nomination from Eugene Mccarthy; and because he and they supported the war in Viet Nam.

We were wrong to do that, but we were young. We were smart in that we saw what an immoral war the Viet Nam war was, but we were not wise.

Then "the kids" deserve every ounce of pain in store for them- should the Grand Oligarchic Plutocrats stay in power. I hope "the kids" aren't that stupid- because you keep telling us how smart they are...
