Now the fraud occurs with vote my mail (just absentee ballots by another name) and a lack of clearing out people who die or move away. Not to mention the automatic enrollment process in many states that ignores citizenship.

Requiring ID is not suppression - it's a simple safeguard and been used by many states for decades. Not to mention the democratic conventions themselves requiring ID to attend. To seriously suggest someone can get up and make the effort to go vote but can't get ID is ludicrous and if there are actually people without ID - I would suggest both parties help them acquire ID as the benefits go beyond voting.

I'm open to ideas that would stop fraud, multiple voting, voting out of state etc. I actually enjoyed going to the polls - felt very civic minded, part of the community experience and all.

PS: Those literacy tests where another democrat effort to suppress black voters in the south. Now the effort is to block any reforms to preserve integrity or register illegals.
