I'm sorry my off topic questions to Keith disturbed you. As for the jumping through hoops, I think you should rethink that logic. You own a stock for the merits of the company fundamentals. If those merits are circumspect, then there is good reason to have a discussion. If this discussion doesn't yield new information to address these concerns, then you should worry about the merits of these said fundamentals.

On the other hand, if you buy stocks for the sake of buying stocks, then you will ignore this process and be glad when your "stock" goes up and sad when your "stock" goes down. Unfortunately, longer term, the market cares nothing about emotions and everything about fundamentals.
