thanks. another question. for a guy like me just starting out and paper trading using TA. what period parameter would you recommend me using for stochastics, RSI, Momentum and simple moving average. i believe i read in one of your posts that the period specified should be consistent on all charts meaning if a period of 14 is used for stochastics, the same period should be used for RSI and momentum. is that correct?

using SHVA as an example. for stochastics, if i use a period of 5 vs 14, the 5 shows near the 20 mark while the 14 shows near 60.

i printed all your posts and have been studying hard this past week trying to put it all together. i'm a family man with a full time job so it's tough to find dedicated time but i always find time to make $$. plan on going to the library to check out some TA books for what it's worth. thanks. have a good weekend and thanks again.
