You're all using the word "extortion" as though it were the morning talking point from Pelosi's office.

Yet, none of you can explain what "extortion" is relative to these false allegations, an idiot's ploy.

Extortion, as defined by Blacks (pertaining to public office), "consists in any public officer unlawfully taking, by color of his office, from any person any money or thing of value that is not due to him. or more than his due.

To consider this alleged qpq as a payment to Trump is just silly. He didn't receive anything of value at all. And in fact receipt is essential as indicated in the definition. What was the alleged quid pro quo? I suppose, the investigation of corruption by Hunter Biden that would have somehow, had it occurred, been valuable to Trump? Just a dumb proposition only Pelosi and Schiff could have come up with.

If that's the quid, what's the quo? Trump will release the withheld money? That had never been withheld in the first place?

There are two moving parts and you have neither of them.

Why lower yourselves to this level?
