Interesting. I find myself reading more these days. I'm not a fiction fan so I seem to drift toward documentary reads, even some theology. Stuff I never would have even looked at as recent as maybe 8-10 years ago. Many years ago I took 2 separate speed reading classes/courses. I could knock off a typical page in a few seconds, and retain much of what I read. Now, all the years of NO practice, I can barely read a page a minute. At that, I often go back and re-read paragraphs just to be assured of actually grasping what I read. In spite of that I do enjoy reading. Being retired and not rushed adds greatly to the enjoyment.
