Looks interesting but I do't see this as a competitor. The Signal 9 firewall seems almost like an "anti-virus" type of application in that it protects an individual pc as opposed to an intranet. In today's business environment if you have an intranet you pobably don not have the time to set up a firewall on every PC much less keep track of who has what rules. This seems to be aimed at people who are on the internet all the time and are nervous at having open ports that could be pinged, ect.. What layer does Signal 9 reside in; where does it make itself residant? - Al
