Jim, my understanding of the taping is that regardles of whether Tripp's original tapes werre illegally made, the fact that Attorney General Reno and the panel of three federal judges they convened to authorize a wire-tap based on probable cause that a crime had been committed, makes that irrelevant at this point.

Not irrelevant to Tripp, if Lewinsky wants to bring suit for illegal wiretapping. Which she should do. She should also go after Starr & Company for entrapment.

There has been a pattern in the Whitewater case of witnesses or involved parties clamming up, being offered jobs and financial support by people around the Clintons, etc.

Cite your "facts", please? If it were as clearcut as you seem to think, Ken Starr wouldn't have spent five years and $30 million trying unsuccessfully to make some dirt stick to the Clintons.

Again, you offer your own suppositions as "truth".
