>>Through its off-shore facilities in Galway, Ireland<<

Why do I picture Larry & Sondo floating on a raft eating cheese?

I'll bet this is a one day bounce. It doesn't even look like this is a new contract.

Wait until they report results for the quarter and year to see where this one is going.

DDIM has a p/e of around 40 even if they make their numbers for '97. This is a premium of about 100% to the market. They should be trading at a steep discount to the market because their business goes away on Jan 1, 2000.

HUGE NEWS and projections of the DDIM stock going to the moon were a lot scarier to me (I'm short DDIM) when it hit 40 than they are now. Face it, DDIM is a story and momentum stock. Momentum stocks seldom come back once the momentum is broken.

DDIM has a Market cap of $190 Million. A $5 Million contract with Merk at say 10% margin over several years is yield maybe $100,000 after tax a year. This provides less than $0.01 EPS, where is DDIM going to get the other $0.99 in 1998 ? They will never get a 100 constracts like this in 98.
