Seriously: I understand and agree with your points regarding slackers being in practically every institution. I also would add that everyone at different times is deceptive, shading the facts or omitting relevant info to put the slant they want to convey on what they say or write.

I guess what is disturbing is:

1) Ms. Lewinsky was taped by her friend/co-worker before she signed an affidavit under oath that she did NOT have an affair with Pres. Clinton. I think that I'm more likely to believe a private taped conversation than a signed affidavit, even under oath, mainly because since the tapes were recorded without her knowing, she had no idea that they would surface later, contradicting her sworn affidavit.

2) I don't think anyone wants to believe that the Pres. of the USA, a married man, had an affair while in office with a girl who was still attending high school while he began his Presidency.

3) Why did Vernon Jordan assist her in getting a job at the Pentagon? Do Presidential advisors help all interns (an unpaid job) attain promotions?

4) Why was Ms. Lewinsky ever even asked in the first place by the attorneys for Paula Jones if she had had a sexual liason with the President? There must have been some pretty heavy rumors going around within people "in the know".
