Yes, like I said, the bone spur thing is not an evolution - not in the normal sense of the word anyway. But make no mistakes about it, the human race is still evolving, and at a surprisingly fast rate. I am sure you can find several examples if you search the net. Africa, for example, has been a continuous source of human genome mutation. I wish I could remember the details of the UK case - but all I remember is that it was about UK (or Scotland) and the key mechanism was female selection.
