Yes. I don't know how widespread this is but it is not unusual for me to visit with brokers or investors who say, "I haven't heard about that." when I mention G* as a component of Qcom.

I am not certain but my instincts tell me a loud "yes" on a global basis, although that probably won't influence my long-term investing strategy. Sprinkle in a little El Nino', some Y2k, a "pinch" of White House scandal, and Middle East tensions, along with whatever whacky stuff happens when a new millenium comes along, ... .
