Ah ha, you DO have an opinion on abortion you are not afraid to share. It's truly freedom of speech week here at the Feelings thread, and there are so many posts that yours might not even be noticed. I think there should be a lot more reproductive responsibility, but everyone is not equally healthy or at a good place in their lives, and some ill and underaged women are used by men, so my own position has some escape hatches for compassion. If you go ahead and read the U.S. News and World Report article, Mike, I think it mentions how many states are making new laws making abortions more difficult to get. And the percentage of Americans who support abortion for any reason has dropped from the high sixties to only 50%. So while I doubt abortions will ever be made totally illegal, the trend is to restrict them.
