Good post louel (IMO :).. buy/sell side.. yeah got that :)

I will say that China has made many inroads into being greener.. The people are demanding it and although we do not typically see the dynamic in the West or ignore it.. Chinese leaders that mess up don't retire to the speaking circuit :)

There is no denying that China and India are heavy polluters .. India has been a disappointment to me .. but the West and especially countries screaming the loudest forget the negative impact that they have had on these countries.. They are playing catch up and without carbon fuels.. they won't.. that is part of the hope of some, so this issue has many moving parts... I am sure you have already heard me decry BC coal exports enabling these countries and the lack of mention by the three green buddies fighting over BC votes in the last election... There is already a strong US based anti Alberta oilsands movement which was a much easier bandwagon to jump onto... China and India have the largest solar projects it seems... India is actually ham, strung by democracy

China will continue to change.. the air is bad.. They are advancing lots of solar and nuclear also... people demand it.. It would be a terribly truism destroying road trip for many in the west to take.. a month in China.. all around.. not the government tourist traps :)

I have not got back to you on the turban post yet :)
It's in the lazy afternoon pile :))
