TJ what you write is so typical China - increasing mass production of a commodity item.
As a bystander, it is clear to me that over 1.3 billion people barely make a dent in world innovation, yes they are excellent in copying an idea or product and improve on it and its functionality, nothing to sneeze at but this not innovation or invention.

Therefore China leadership resort to pure imperialism with their various initiatives like the "Road and Belt" initiative, with the unheard of arrogance to claim the polar oceans as their own because they are "nearby" and the list goes on. China returned to the days of Zheng He (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zheng_He) during the Ming dynasty, a period that China should be ashamed off thei conduct towards their own people and their imperialistic aspiration.

I may pressed a hot button, but that is the truth - each big nation has its own period to be ashamed off and unfortunate for me Jews included. Just read the bible.
