David...very good posting....the earning report by the company was
IMHO, very good...Miss target set by analyse by .02...not a big deal
The problem is the "Gamble of the 100 million advertising"...
KE explain what he was doing and why....Time will tell...I have
take a paper loss today but if he right it could be all big profit
for all including "KE'....

Hi David, I agree with you, we're not going to bury IOM, as the patient is still breathing though the analysts have tried to pull the plug. I think the advertising game plan will work, otherwise why would so many co.'s spend millions on ads, i.e. Pepsi, MSFT etc. The Superbowl ads are targeted at the babyboomers and I'm sure this will increase sales. In addition CPQ and DELL and Gateway are doing well now and are supposed to do well this year,(I have CPQ shares) which means more Zips and disks should be sold. Hopefully Clik! will be released in the 2nd half of '98. As usual FEAR and GREED have ruled today. Keep your spirits up. SR
